Saint Andrew's Society - For over 20 years the members of the Jacksonville Saint Andrew's Society have supported the Scottish community in North Florida and Southern Georgia. Along with scholarships for piping and dancing, they provide ongoing events throughout the year culminating in their annual Burn's Night Supper. They have a long history of bringing Scots and their families together to remember their heritage and to actively support the Scottish community. Many of their members are active supporters of the Northeast Florida Scottish Games & Festival. Pipe Instruction Brian Nelson's site The Bagpipe Teachers List Monmouth College - The continued growth of the Monmouth College Pipe Band is fostered by recruiting piping and drumming talent into the student body of the college. A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified high school and transfer students who would like to pursue a four-year degree at Monmouth College and participate in the Monmouth College Pipe Band. Scholarship recipients are required to play, teach, and assume leadership roles as well as provide instruction for beginning and intermediate level students from the College as well as from the local community.
